Last fall, Greg Kwiatkowski contacted me and ordered SportzGemz for his daughter’s soccer shoes. He and I corresponded over several months. We chatted about the hows and whys of what make SportzGemz work. Below is what Greg has to say.
“Last fall soccer season, after 10 practices with 2 of them in the rain – my child’s brand new soccer shoes smelled so bad I could not stand to be in the same car with them! After the investment I had made in these shoes, I was desperate to find a solution so my daughter and her shoes could be let in the house again! We found a solution, and such a good one that the Crew Juniors Soccer Club is making this product available for sale to all players. A portion of the proceeds from every sale of will go to the Grand Rapids Crew Juniors Scholarship Fund.”

SportzGemz work very well to dry cleats and gloves and to remove the smell in Lacrosse bags, especially as the weather warms up.
Hopefully the snow will hold off as Vancouver in the snow is not pretty and the traveling teams will be able to get into town.
The kids will play a minimum of 4 games this weekend, at least 2 games a day. In between games, it’s difficult to dry the equipment and if you’re staying in a hotel, the room usually smells horrible!

Ringette is the fastest game on ice. It is similar to hockey in that the players wear full equipment, including skates and score by putting the ring in the next. Ringette is a passing game, where the ring must be passed over each blue line. Also, a 30 second shot clock ensures that a shot on goal must happen every 30 seconds, or the other team receives possession of the ring.
Our October shows were a great success. At the Cranberry Festival in Fort Langley, we enjoyed beautiful weather and there were soooo.. many people who dropped by. The response was terrific and we sold lots of product. We should have some great testimonials to share soon.
The Vancouver Interior Design show was also great. We talked to so many people over the weekend that I didn’t have a voice on Monday.
The shows are long and lots of hard work, but the response to the product is fantastic. Everyone is excited that there is an “All Natural” solution to the smell of sports equipment. The enthusiasm keeps us inspired! Thanks.
