Hopefully the snow will hold off as Vancouver in the snow is not pretty and the traveling teams will be able to get into town.
The kids will play a minimum of 4 games this weekend, at least 2 games a day. In between games, it’s difficult to dry the equipment and if you’re staying in a hotel, the room usually smells horrible!
To help out, we have a team special on SportzGemz5 this weekend. Purchase 10 or more at $29.95!. When SportzGemz are used between games, the skates and gloves will dry out. Also, the smell in the car from the ringette equipment won’t be as bad!
Ringette is the fastest game on ice. It is similar to hockey in that the players wear full equipment, including skates and score by putting the ring in the next. Ringette is a passing game, where the ring must be passed over each blue line. Also, a 30 second shot clock ensures that a shot on goal must happen every 30 seconds, or the other team receives possession of the ring.
Our October shows were a great success. At the Cranberry Festival in Fort Langley, we enjoyed beautiful weather and there were soooo.. many people who dropped by. The response was terrific and we sold lots of product. We should have some great testimonials to share soon.
The Vancouver Interior Design show was also great. We talked to so many people over the weekend that I didn’t have a voice on Monday.
The shows are long and lots of hard work, but the response to the product is fantastic. Everyone is excited that there is an “All Natural” solution to the smell of sports equipment. The enthusiasm keeps us inspired! Thanks.
For the past few years SportzGemz have been used in a widening variety of sports equipment.
SportzGemz are a great idea for fundraisers. Something that every athlete needs and every family can use. Each SportzGemz sold contributes a minimum of $5 to the team.
Basketball Shoes Stink! They are left in lockers between games and practices and everything in the locker stinks as well.
My daughter experienced this and decided to put a SportzGemz pouch in her locker. In a few days, the locker, shoes, jersey and books all were smell-free! The SportzGemz also removed the smell from the next locker.
It was easy! Place the pouch inside the locker and close the door. Overnight the smell in gone.
With the new Curves Smart Program, the Curves Langley club has been busier than ever.
The new program monitors the client’s reps and strength and helps the client be more consistent in their workout. Clients are working harder than ever before and the Curves Smart is pushing them to achieve even more.
Curves has always been a woman’s gym – generally catering to the 40+ crowd. With the new and very effective Curves Smart Program – EVERYONE is working harder!
An interesting side effect of this was that Curves now smelt like a gym!
After listening to clients complain about this, I talked with Wendy and we tried an experiment.
2 sets of SportzGemz (6 pouches) were placed around the club. OVERNIGHT the smell was GONE! and it hasn’t been back.
I’ve even had visiting clients, from other clubs, comment!

I have an 11 year old ringette player and a 14 year old hockey player, and just can’t tell you the difference in the smell of their equipment and my vehicle since we have been using the SportzGemz. The hockey player’s gloves were the biggest offender and after just a short while they don’t quite smell like roses, but oh so much better. Have also used both the Diva Diamonds (before we got the SportzGemz) in my husband and son’s shoes, and again have not once walked into my mudroom from outside and wondered what had gone bad in the fridge(ha-ha). I am going to get a couple more sets to use around the house. Thanks for such a great product that really has made a difference without having to spray a bunch of aerosol sprays that only ever covered the smell for a short while not eliminated the odour.
